We now have copies of Slomo's THE BOG for sale in the
STORE.
Wotcha,
RAW POWER SUITE wins the accolade of being
Head Heritage Album of the Month for November 2008.
Slomo's almost mythical THE BOG album is currently making something of a perambulation around various customs stops of the world, and should be with us at some point this week. It will be available immediately but I'm loathe to take orders until we actually have physical product in hand.

Ello,
Out this week is
Padma's "Song For An Entryphone EP". All three tracks were recorded on my watch and I'm happy that we got to push the boat out a little on "Waiting For Dolma", here included in sumptuously extended, remixed form. Also, my missus sings the hopscotch vocal on Padma's ragged back-porch style cover of Malvina Reynolds' "Little Boxes".
It's a digital EP currently only available through the
Just Music Digital Store, though it should also be available on iTunes et al within the coming weeks.
Both Slomo and Tomb Zero have been delayed a little, though I'm still hoping for an October release for both.
And COLLECTING EARTHQUAKES II is coming along nicely.

Hello, I've been busy having children but now the latest one has clocked up his first year, I figured it was time for an update:
SLOMO - the new Slomo album THE BOG is finished and now in the quintessentially slomo design phase.
Important Records will be releasing THE BOG at some point over the summer ... June/July/August 08 if all goes to plan.
THE BOG features a guest appearance from Julian Cope, who recites a short poem written especially for the album.
PADMA - Padma's debut album HERE is released via
Just Music in June 08. I produced the album and played the odd thing here and there. It bears little resemblance to any other recordings I've been involved in - essentially being an acoustic-based singer/songwriter album - but I did get to play the shruti and apply some psychedelic textures. Most importantly, underneath my applications are a big bunch of smart songs sung by an incredible voice.
Check out his site here.
CADAVEROUS CONDITION have released a remix album DESTROYING THE NIGHT SKY. I contributed the track "Death Warmed Up", which is an interpretation of the outrageously jolly "Destroy Your Life" as imagined from the inside of a retort chamber. The album features remixes by Nurse With Wound, Thighpaulsandra, Nocturnal Emissions, Colin Potter, Andrew Liles + loads more. I have a few copies for sale in the
STORE.
Finally, at some point this summer I will be releasing the incredible debut album by TOMB ZERO. 10 years in the making, this is very much an album of the North, and will appeal to quaffers of krautockers such as Witthuser & Westrupp, Popol Vuh, Sergius Golowin and Walter Wegmüller, as well those hip to the gleaming contemporary sounds of Werkraum, Sturmpercht, In Gowan Ring etc. etc. etc. Cosmic folk music to soundtrack significant celestial events in Northern skies.
A semi-official bootleg on Southern Cross ... this 47 minute disc contains a soundboard recording of my live set from ROME WASN'T BURNED IN A DAY in October 2003 plus other recordings from around the same time sequenced into one massive burnout. Available now from the STORE page at £9.99.
